Dr. Karin Sorgaard was born on the family farm in northern Minnesota, where her love for all creatures great and small began. She grew up tending to dogs and cats, helping to birth calves, and riding her horses all over the place. She earned her Bachelor of Science from North Dakota State University and was awarded her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University. She then completed a veterinary internship in Glenwood Springs, Colorado and practiced in the Phoenix area for six years. Dr. Sorgaard is thrilled to be in Flagstaff and to provide compassionate veterinary care for your beloved pets.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sorgaard loves travelling and all things outdoors…riding her gelding, Baloo (the best horse on the planet), skiing, biking, running, and climbing, and usually her sweet pup, Trygve, gets to tag along. (Source)
