Dr. McDonald grew up just outside of Calgary. She completed her undergraduate degree and her DVM at the University of Calgary. She traveled to Colorado for an internship at Littleton Equine Medical Center, where she was exposed to all facets of veterinary medicine, including lameness and internal medicine. She is thrilled to be back home in Calgary. She has been showjumping since she was eight years old and spends as much time as possible riding. (Source)
