Kathryn Garner, BVM&S

Dr. Kathryn Garner is a primary care veterinarian at Pieper Veterinary. Originally from western Pennsylvania, she graduated from Delaware Valley University with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science, with a specialty in equine science and management. She obtained her doctorate from the University of Edinburgh School of Veterinary Studies. She is a member of the AVMA and CVMA and has special clinical interests in surgery, orthopedics, dermatology, and wellness and preventative care.

Dr. Garner was inspired to pursue a career in veterinary medicine by the doctor who saved her childhood dog’s life after he was hit by a truck. Working with clients and forming relationships with both them and their pets is her favorite part of her job. Dr. Garner lives with her boyfriend and their dog, Finley, and their cats, Samantha Jane and Lucy Louise. When not at work she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, camping, yoga, and spending time with her family. (Source)
