Katrina Glaude, DVM

Dr. Glaude is originally from Pelham, NH where she grew up riding and developing her love for horses. She attended University of Maine Orono and earned her Bachelors in Animal Sciences with an equine minor. She completed veterinary school at Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island where she focused her time on equine medicine.

During her schooling, she was an active member of the equine club and student chapter of American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP). She soon developed a passion for equine dentistry and pursued several externships in equine dentistry. After veterinary school, she completed an internship at Ocean State Equine Associates in North Scituate, RI where she provided equine ambulatory services and wellness with a focus on dentistry.

Dr. Glaude attends regular continuing education for dentistry. She often travels to Massachusetts to continue her education with a board certified equine veterinary dentist. As of 2020, Dr. Glaude has extended her education is now a Certified Equine Veterinary Medical Manipulator Practitioner (CEVMMP).

She is excited to be back in the Greater Bangor area providing veterinary dental care and occasional emergency services for some of the other local equine veterinarians.

She spends much of her free time riding, training and showing her horse Tom in the discipline of eventing. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, and two dogs, Max and Rogue, doing activities such as hiking, snowmobiling and snowshoeing.

She is currently licensed to practice in the state of Maine and Massachusetts. (Source)
