Hi there, my name is Keirsten Perry. I was born and raised in Summerside, PEI. That was where I fell in love with horses. I started riding at the age of ten. I remember watching my sister ride and knew it was something I wanted to do. When I was 15 years old, working part time at Sobeys as a cashier supervisor and a full time student, I bought my first horse. She was a three year old off the track standardbred named Charlotte’s Starlet. She was retired from racing due to a P1 fracture. We connected and worked hard to bond and learn from each other. We endured some injuries, shared tears, laughs and we accomplished many things together. (Source)
