Dr. Ken Vanderwekken was born in Lacombe, Alberta and, except for the years he attended veterinary college, has lived in that area his whole life. Dr. Vanderwekken graduated from Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He achieved certification for Veterinary Acupuncture in 2006 and Animal Chiropractic in 2009. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
