Kim Keeton, DVM

Dr Kim Keeton is the owner of Coyote Creek Equine Veterinary Services. An avid competitor in Eventing, Dr Keeton recently returned from 20 months in England where she worked at The Willesley Equine Clinic, of the B&W Equine Group, one of the UK’s premier equine veterinary centers. Also during her time in the UK, Dr Keeton competed her young homebred stallion, “Accolade”, and her off the track Thoroughbred, “Wade and Tay”, in both local and International competitions.

Dr Keeton is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, where she grew up “horse crazy.” Following her passion, she attended Valley View Ranch Equestrian Camp as a child where her love for horses and veterinary medicine was further founded. She then attended Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Returning home, Dr Keeton finished her education at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine by obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2005. She was then employed as an associate at Covered Bridge Equine where she worked until her departure to the UK in February 2010. While at CBE, Dr Keeton furthered her education by becoming certified in Veterinary Acupuncture at the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida in 2008. (Source)
