Dr. Kim is originally from Ida Grove, IA where she grew up on a small family farm with a feedlot where she started her love of animals. She went to South Dakota State University for undergraduate schooling, and received her DVM degree from Iowa State University in 2011. She moved to the New Hampton area in 2012, and started New Hampton Veterinary Clinic in 2017. Her husband, Justin, also works at the clinic with her. They have 2 children, Lane and Bristol, that enjoy helping around the vet clinic and on farm calls. They live on an acreage outside of New Hampton with 2 dogs, a few horses, and some cats. Kim loves working with all types of animals and is very excited to be working with everyone here in the community. (Source)
