Kristen Frederick, DVM

Kristen grew up in Kingston, Ontario. She earned a B. Sc. in biological anthropology from the University of Toronto in 2008. In 2017 she graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in both equine and small animal practice prior to joining our team in July, 2020. Her professional interests include anesthesia, diagnostic imaging, feline medicine and shelter medicine.

Outside of work, Kristen enjoys horseback riding, rock-climbing, reading and travelling. She volunteers with Toronto Street Cats, a spay/neuter initiative and is also part of the educational team at Equine Guelph. Her home is controlled by a mischievous orange cat named Leonard. (Source)
