Dr. Kristin Peterson joined the Wilvet team in July of 2017.
Dr. Peterson was born in Bend, Oregon, but grew up on the Oregon Coast. She graduated locally, from West Albany High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Willamette University in 1998. Dr. Peterson went on to graduate from veterinary school at Oregon State University in 2009. She has worked at a variety of practices in general medicine, but her most recent specialty was in emergency services.
In her free time, Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with her husband and spending as much time outdoors as possible, hiking, fishing, boating, and gardening. They own a horse farm in Turner, and she enjoys dressage and three day eventing. (Source)
