Lane Adams-Torres, DVM

Dr. Adams-Torres joins us from Meddleton Equine Hospital in New Mexico where she has been an associate veterinarian for the past year. Prior to working in New Mexico, she worked in Kentucky at Equine Services Surgical Hospital where she gained expertise in performance horses, breeding, dentistry, lameness, and surgery. Her participation in the AAEP farrier short courses, the International Conference on Laminitis and equine podiatry courses at Auburn University gives her abroad insight into the biomechanics of motion and lameness in horses.

Originally from Auburn, Alabama, growing up on her family’s farm and riding facility, she earned her degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. A rider herself, Lane enjoys trail riding and field trials with Tennessee Walking Horses. She is an outdoor enthusiast who also enjoys hiking, biking, fishing, and hunting and spending time with her two dogs. (Source)
