Lauren Pasch, DVM, Dipl. ACT

Dr. Lauren Pasch leads our reproduction department and offers comprehensive reproductive services for mares and stallions as well as reproductive consults for performance horses. 

Dr. Pasch was raised in a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where her involvement with horses started at a young age. She received a bachelor’s in fine arts from Brandeis University, in Waltham, Massachusetts, and remained in the Boston area following graduation. Ultimately, Dr. Pasch returned to her home state to attend veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin. She then moved back east for a one-year internship here at Rhinebeck Equine before completing a residency in Large Animal Theriogenology at University of Pennsylvania New Bolton Center. She worked in a private referral practice in the Midwest before returning to Rhinebeck Equine. 

Dr. Pasch is board-certified by the American College of Theriogenologists (ACT) and has special interests in high-risk pregnancies, subfertile mares, and embryo transfer. She became certified in equine acupuncture at Chi University, in Reddick, Florida, in 2014 and provides acupuncture services for all types of equine patients. As an active member of the ACT, Dr. Pasch served on the Maintenance of Certification Committee from 2019 – 2021. (Source)
