Laurie Jackowiak, DVM

Dr Jack found her love for veterinary medicine while growing up on the family’s dairy farm, in Alpena. Most of the days on the farm she spent riding horses and milking cows. “Working with the cattle I discovered I had a gift to communicate with them and was captivated by the circle of life”

Dr Jack is a graduate of Michigan State University and worked at a mixed animal practice before purchasing Alpena Veterinary Clinic in 2008. She is passionate about helping her community through different charities as well as caring for the animals. She feels blessed to work in a profession where pet owners consider her a friend and great advocate for their pet’s health. She is proud to offer modern medicine in a compassionate setting at Alpena Veterinary Clinic.

When she is not at the clinic you may find her on her horse competing in barrel racing events, farming, or enjoying her blue tick coonhound and husband on an outdoor adventure. (Source)
