Dr. Lexi Gallina is originally from Long Island, New York, where she grew up competing in equitation and jumpers on her Holsteiner gelding, Jimmy. After her undergraduate studies at University of Connecticut, she received her DVM from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Dr. Gallina then completed her internship year at Grand Prix Equine in Connecticut where she developed a special interest in sport horse medicine and preventative wellness care. (Source)
