Dr. Arthur is from South Boston, Virginia and grew up riding Hunter Jumper. She studied Animal and Poultry Science at Virginia Tech. Following undergraduate studies, Dr. Arthur participated in the Kentucky Equine Management Internship in Lexington and stayed after to continue to work with mares and foals on the farm and as a hospital technician. Dr. Arthur returned to Virginia Tech to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation she completed a field care internship with Lexington Equine Medical Group in Lexington, Ky. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine, lameness, and acupuncture. (Source)
