I have been a massage therapist for people since 2001 and horses since 1999. I am a Port Townsend School of Massage graduate and along with my continuing education credits and horse massage licensure credits I have close to 2000 hours of training.
I approach bodywork without an agenda, listening and following the tissue and creating a positive environment where the healing can be realized for the client. I specialize in injury rehabilitation and some of the structural orthopedic and osteopathic massage modalities I incorporate in my work include:
— Craniosacral Therapy (Advanced)
— Myofascial Therapy (Advanced)
— Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LTD)
— Strain Counterstrain and Positional Release
— Gentle Deep Tissue
— Chinese Cupping
These therapies can increases range of motion and can helpful with spinal, muscular, joint and head injuries, migraine treatment, TMJ syndrome, fibromyalgia, secondary lymphadema, pre-surgery tissue drainage and post-surgery rehabilitation (including scar release and edemas) and increase range of motion.
