Lisa Lynn Casinella, DVM

Dr. Lisa Casinella grew up in Jamesville, NY. She is a 1996 graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. From 1996-2010 she practiced in central Virginia. In 2010 she joined Peak Performance Equine Services, working alongside Dr. Christiana Ober in Ocala, FL as an ambulatory practitioner specializing in the performance horse. She has developed a comprehensive background in both the sport horse and race horse industries; Dr. Casinella is actively involved with Thoroughbred sales throughout the east coast. Over the years, she has served as the Official USEF Team Veterinarian for the U.S. Show Jumping, Driving and Vaulting Teams. Lisa also added complementary medicine to her portfolio, utilizing equine acupuncture. Dr. Casinella is based year round in Ocala. She and her husband Randy, are immersed in the Thoroughbred racing industry and spend much of their time with their horses and dog Dash. (Source)
