Dr. Liz Hanly is from Calgary, Alberta and grew up riding and working with horses. She graduated from the University College Dublin in 2021 and completed her internship at Moore Equine Veterinary Center in 2022. While in Ireland, she learned how to play polocross through the University equestrian club. During her internship she participated in a research project with Dr Renaud Leguillette studying exercise physiology and the effects of laryngeal hemiplegia on exercise induced pulmonary hemorrhage. Her interests reach far and wide as she experiences all aspects of ambulatory equine medicine. As a Calgary native, Liz enjoys spending her free time with her new puppy in the mountains running, hiking, and skiing. (Source)
