The Longleaf Trace is South Mississippi’s premier running, biking, hiking, and equestrian trail. It is a beautiful, 44-mile linear park that extends from Hattiesburg (elevation 220′) through Sumrall (290′), Bassfield (460′), and Carson to Prentiss (336′). A Rails-To-Trails conversion, the trail is 10 feet wide and paved. (Source)
