Louise Batt

Dr. Louise Batt was born and raised in England. She was a member of Pony Club and competed in show jumping and one day eventing. She graduated from the University of Bristol Veterinary School in 2007, and came to the U.S. for an internship in large animal medicine & surgery at Colorado State University. She worked in private practice for several years in southern colorado before moving to beautiful Steamboat Springs in 2013 & founding High Country Veterinary Services. Since then, she has built her practice to serve the horses and livestock of the area with compassion and expertise. Her clinical areas of expertise include advanced dentistry, lameness & injury rehabilitation, and advanced wound care.

In her free time she likes to read, ski, go camping & spend time with her husband and their 3 boisterous young sons (and occasionally ride still when she gets time!).
