Madeleine Augustsson

We are pleased to announce the addition of Madeleine (Maddie) as a trainer here at Sargent Equestrian Center. Maddie, born and raised in Sweden, with a vast amount of experience in riding, driving, competing, navigating, barn managing and Equine Therapies.
Maddie has been at SEC since the end of 2017, managing the barn, training horses and clients full time.

Maddie’s experience includes 13 years of experience at competitions from Training & Preliminary level to World Championships as well as 20+ years’ experience of riding both jumping and dressage. Maddie also has an Equine Sports Massage Certificate and experience in Equine electro acupressure, theraplate, laser therapy, magnawave and magnetic blankets.

Maddie has worked for some of the best known drivers in the world including Michael Freund GER (3.5 years), Chester Weber USA (4 years), Thomas Eriksson SWE (2 years).

Maddie comes to us with her big, beautiful, grey, 15 yo, Westphalian warmblood, gelding Calle. You won’t be able to miss him at the shows.

Maddie comes with a unique set of experience and education she is a perfect addition to our team here at SEC. While always being professional and respectful she is also caring and empathetic. One of Maddie’s notable strengths includes her ability to connect with horses and their owners to make sure they both have a fun, safe and positive experience.
