Dr. Hayden graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, practiced for two years in Moses Lake before starting at Valley Veterinary Hospital. In 2003 Dr. Hayden purchased Valley Veterinary Hospital, and shortly afterwards expanded the Cle Elum clinic, Cascade East Animal Clinic, into a full-time office. In 2015 Dr. Hayden opened the new Valley Veterinary Hospital and full service boarding facility, a culmination of years of planning (and dreaming) for a modern facility. Dr. Hayden was drawn to animals at a young age, growing up on a small farm, participating in 4-H, and “collecting” a wide range of companions from mice and chickens to horses and beef cattle. Occasionally his parents would be surprised by injured wildlife being kept in the basement or tree house! Dr. Hayden continues to enjoy working with large and small animals on a daily basis. Solving difficult small animal internal medicine cases, and improving equine health through dentistry continues to be some of his favorite passions in the practice. When not attending to patients, Dr. Hayden’s other passions are his family, volunteering at his church, outdoor activities, and hunting with the dogs and the horses. (Source)
