Mary Lindahl McKay, DVM

Dr. McKay grew up on a farm , where her love for animals and passion for their care began at an early age. She first attended Augustana College, then continued on to obtain her DVM from the University of Illinois. During vet school, she specialized in horses and learned from experts in surgery and reproduction at various externships. She completed an internship at Montana Equine, a referral center outside of Bozeman, MT. Here she received advanced training in surgery, internal medicine, reproduction, and emergency/critical care. She also spent two months at a large equine practice in Las Vegas. In her free time, Dr. McKay enjoys riding, hiking, and spending time with her husband Mitch, family, and friends. (Source)
