Mary Williams, DVM

Originally from Alberta, Canada, Mary was born in Edmonton and moved to Lethbridge with her family when her father took a faculty position at the University of Lethbridge. She graduated from high school in 2008 and began her undergraduate education at the University of Lethbridge. She then transferred to the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon where she completed her pre-veterinary requirements and graduated with a B.S. in Biology in 2012.

Mary began her journey in veterinary medicine at Ross University on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts. After completing the pre-clinical courses on the island, she finished her last year of veterinary school at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and graduated in May, 2017.

Mary enjoys the variety and excitement that veterinary medicine involves. Every case is a new puzzle to be solved and she is enthusiastic about continuing to learn and grow as a new doctor. She has always had a passion for animals ranging from dogs and cats to horses. She grew up riding horses and is hoping to pick up that hobby again now that she has finished school. Right now she shares her home in Bartlesville with one dog, a yellow lab named Hammer who is a retired duck hunting dog. (Source)
