Megan A. Slamka, DVM

Dr Slamka is a specialist in equine general practice with an emphasis in Dentistry, Lameness, Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. Growing up in West Michigan, she cultivated her love of horses riding and showing. She attended veterinary school at the University of Minnesota where she tracked equine. Furthering her passion for Equine Veterinary Medicine, she completed a one year internship at a specialty private referral hospital in Elk River, MN. She has spent the past 7 years working as a large animal veterinarian gaining expertise with all disciplines and all breeds of horses. With her husband Greg, Dr Slamka has 2 wonderful children, 4 horses, 2 dogs and three cats. She enjoys riding her horses, downhill skiing and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
