Dr. Megan Calitri is originally from Cumberland, Rhode Island, and even worked as a technician at OSEA before attending vet school. She fell in love with animals, particularly horses at an early age and has followed that passion through school. Dr. Calitri attended the University of Rhode Island for her undergraduate degree then continued to The Atlantic Veterinary College for her doctorate. She completed a one-year internship focusing on primary care and ambulatory medicine in upstate New York and is thrilled to return to the region. Dr. Calitri is excited to continue her learning through the Lameness and Sports Medicine Fellowship with Dr. Currid when she is not seeing emergencies. (Source)
