Megan Puzey, DVM

Dr. Megan Puzey was born in Calgary, Alberta and was raised in the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. She was a member of the local Pony Club throughout her childhood, which introduced her to equine veterinary medicine as a career. She decided she wanted to be a vet at the age of 13 when she started volunteering at the local mixed animal clinic. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of Calgary, she moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to attend the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Following her graduation, she completed a one-year rotating equine internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, California. (Source)
