During her undergraduate work Dr. Masters worked at various feedyards and ranches while completing a bachelors in animal and dairy sciences. Dr. Masters attended veterinary school at Mississippi State University and following graduation she completed an internship in beef cattle production medicine working at a local backgrounding and order buyer facility. Dr. Masters spent time in mixed animal practices in Kansas and Montana prior to moving to South Dakota.
Dr. Masters is now the owner of Masters Veterinary services, a mobile veterinary practice servicing a large radius around the Rapid City area. Dr. Masters has a wide variety of critters at home from horses to dogs. (Source)
