Michael D. Gamble, DVM

Dr. Mike Gamble and his wife Jill are raising 5 boys, 4 Quarter Horses, 1 pony, 1 crippled steer, a border Collie cross named Hoss, and a cat someone started calling “Princess Sparkles.” They have been busy with their boys’ many activities since moving here in the spring of 2015. Dr. Gamble grew up in northern Utah on a small horse farm, where he was exposed to many different animals while growing up, and participated in 4-H as a youth. These experiences, supportive parents, and a good mentor led Dr. Mike to try his hand at team roping, steer wrestling and a little tie-down in high school, college and semi-pro competitions.

He came to the Basin in early 2015 and purchased Uinta Veterinary Services in May, 2015. Dr. Duncan and Trudy were very kind to help transition him into the practice and community. He loves serving the people in the Basin. He enjoys working with all species, but his main areas of interest are surgery, (soft tissue and orthopedic), adding value to cattle through progressive management, and enhancing athletic performance and reproduction in horses.
