Dr. Michael Hutchison is an Arizona native from the Mogollon Rim country near Pine. After completing his pre-vet coursework at Northern Arizona University, he completed his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in 1993. In 1995, he created Madera Veterinary Hospital. After 14 years of private practice, he left Madera to pursue advanced training and certification in equine and small animal acupuncture. He started Pegasus Veterinary Center in 2010 as well as the 501c3 non-profit horse rescue Southern Arizona Veterinary Equine Rescue in 2016. Currently, he is continuing advanced training in traditional Chinese herbal medicine. (Source)
