Dr. Schmidt recently purchased the practice in 2014! She graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine (GO GREEN!) and also obtained her Bachelor’s of Science degree from MSU. Dr. Schmidt came to MVC in 2011 after completing and internship is Carbondale, Colorado. She works to provide the best compassionate care for our large and small animal patients. Dr. Schmidt is a member of the American and Colorado Veterinary Medical Associations and the American Association of Equine Practitioners. She enjoys preventative medicine, surgery and equine lameness and medicine. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her critters, trailriding and skiing. (Source)
