Michael is a 1998 Cum Laude graduate of UMass Amherst with a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry and Molecular/Cellular Biology. He received his doctorate degree in 2003. After practiced in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for 2 years he and his wife (Susan Galanthay) then moved to Massachusetts in 2005. Michael & Susan purchased Mass Equine in 2011. Although he enjoys all aspects of Equine medicine, in particular, he enjoys lameness and the associated diagnostics and treatment. He is a member of the AVMA, and the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP). He is currently working toward full certification by ISELP. When not working Michael enjoys camping, and hiking with his wife and 2 daughters and also enjoys woodworking. (Source)
