The Mill Iron Ranch has been a Wheeldon family tradition for 4 generations now. We carry on the old cowboy traditions around here, showing Jackson visitors how to ride, fish, hunt and camp. Mill Iron Ranch has been in business since 1921.

Chancy Wheeldon, owner of the Mill Iron Ranch, has been running the ranch for 30 years since he took it over from his father, Clark, in 1974. Chancy, his wife Kim, Coby and Sadee have turned the Mill Iron Ranch into one of the best huntin’, fishin’, ridin’ and eatin’ outfits in these parts!

We are one of the only locally owned and operated horseback rides and hunting operations in Jackson Hole. Our Ranch is bordered on three sides by the Bridger Teton National Forest, and the second Largest State Ran Elk Feed Yard in Wyoming. Our unique location in the Horse Creek Valley provides us and our guests with unparalleled trail riding, hunting, and fishing opportunities.
