Dr. Poisson’s professional interests include emergency medicine, internal medicine, wound management, neonatal care, and preventive medicine.
Dr. Poisson recently graduated from the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine (MIZ!!!). Dr. Poisson is originally from Burriville, Rhode Island, but she had grown up in Missouri for the majority of her life. She completed her undergraduate studies at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Poisson competed on her school’s IHSA equestrian team in the hunt seat equitation ring during her undergraduate career.
In her free time, Dr. Poisson enjoys spoiling her Standard Poodle, Oliver, who is the size of a small pony. Her other hobbies include horseback riding, hiking, traveling to national parks, and baking. (Source)
