Nathan Chase Canada, DVM MS DACVS

Dr. Nathan Canada attended Oklahoma State University, Center for Veterinary Health Sciences and received his DVM in 2011. After graduating, he completed a one year internship at Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital in Ocala, Florida. He then traveled to Kansas State University’s Veterinary Health Center for an additional year of training. During this time, he was selected to enter the equine surgery residency program at KSU. He completed his residency in July of 2016 and received his master’s degree in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences. He obtained diplomate status by passing all parts of the ACVS certification examination in February 2017.

Dr. Canada is originally from Yukon, Oklahoma. Growing up, he worked at a mixed animal clinic for over 10 years. In 2008, he married his high school sweetheart, Lauren, and they have been blessed with four beautiful children, daughters, Peighton and Makinley and sons Sutton and Brock. In his spare time, Dr. Canada enjoys spending time with his family, connecting with others through his local church, and anything that involves being outdoors, especially fishing. (Source)
