Nicole L. Rapa, BS, DVM

Dr. Rapa grew up in Springfield, MA. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Science with a minor in Biology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2013. She spent the next year working as a personal care worker and at a teaching farm. Dr. Rapa then moved to Indiana where she earned her DVM degree from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and met her husband, who is also a Veterinarian! Following graduation in 2018, she worked at a mixed animal practice until joining our team at VCA Montgomery Road Animal Hospital in 2019.

Dr. Rapa is a member in good standing with the American Veterinary Medical Association and is Fear Free Certified. She has a passion for using her veterinary knowledge to help people and pets, which she exemplifies by trying her best to explain things to clients and educate the public. She has also traveled to Peru to work with alpacas and do her part to help educate Andean farmers.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, her son and her two rescue dogs. (Source)
