Nicole Swinehart, DVM

Dr. Nicole Swinehart joined South Carolina Equine Associates, INC in the summer of 1999. She is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio where she completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Miami University in 1994. From there, she pursued her degree in Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University finishing in 1998. Pursuing her interests in equids, Nicole continued on with an Equine Medicine and Surgery Internship at the Marion DuPont Equine Medical Center in Leesburg, Virginia. Her main areas of interest are acupuncture, western horse performance, horse lameness, and sports medicine. She began riding hunter/jumpers at the age of eight years old and continues this passion today on her ex-steeplechaser Eluded. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Chris Cutler and their daughter Coker on their 60-acre farm in Boykin, SC. (Source)
