Dr. Rose graduated from the University of Illinois in 1990, moved to Cañon City in 1993, and opened Rose Veterinary Hospital in April, 2009. She enjoys working with both small and large animals and has a personal menagerie consisting of 4 horses, 2 cats, 1 dog, and 3 heifers.
In her free time (it happens on rare occasions) she loves to go horseback riding, scuba diving, and relaxing with a good book. (Source)
