Pat Garrett, DVM

Dr. Pat was born and raised in Montgomery, AL. He grew up the son of a cattle buyer so he spent the majority of his youth in the alleys of sale barns and order buying pens in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. He competed in steer wrestling and team roping in high school and continued into college at Mississippi State University. There he earned his B.S. in Animal Science and went on to earn his DVM in 2000. After veterinary school, he practiced in Texas, Alabama, and Florida. He has been in the Pilot Point, TX area since 2006. His main areas of interest are equine reproduction and sports medicine. He still enjoys team roping, and has also shown some in the reining. He raises some reining horses as well as beef cattle. (Source)
