Dr. Patricia Flores Ahlschwede, DVM earned her veterinary degree from the Universidad Austral de Chile in 2007. She moved to Lexington,Kentucky in 2008 and had the honor of working at Rood & Riddle with renowned equine reproduction specialist, Dr. Michelle LeBlanc, for two years. Following that opportunity, she completed an internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2012, Dr. Flores moved to New York with her family to help develop the Rood & Riddle in Saratoga practice. Her primary areas of interest are reproduction, foal medicine, emergency care and Thoroughbred sales work. (Source)
