Rachel Miller

Rachel Miller has been in the equine industry for more than 30 years and has been in love ever since she started at the young age of four. Growing up she rode at Stepping Stone Farm in Ridgefield, Connecticut and learned the importance of equitation and skills in jumping. She then proceeded to volunteer at H.O.R.S.E of CT through her high school years to learn about horsemanship and the care of abused and neglected horses. H.O.R.S.E of CT was her turning point in her decision to head off to Morrisville State College and receive her B.S. in Equine Science and Management. Rachel rode for the IHSA Team and was named captain her junior and senior year. During her time at college, she worked closely with Barbara Johnson of Woodstock Acres in Woodstock, Connecticut, mother of Patty Stovel, an Olympic rider. Rachel took the opportunity to travel to Wellington, Florida, and work closely with Patty as her show groom and got to ride many nice horses during her time. (Source)
