Rainy Day Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center was inspired by Ella, a local girl with Rett Syndrome. After seeing the physical and emotional benefits for Ella, her parents wanted to help more children and adults in the community have access to equine-assisted therapies. As local programs have changed, an increased need for therapeutic riding has developed in our community. Rainy Day Ranch was started to fill that need by offering horse lessons to individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities and struggles. We believe in the healing power of horses, and we want to share that with our community! (Source)
