Dr. Raymond D. Rood graduated from Auburn University in 1993. He worked at Laurel and Pimlico Race Tracks from 1993 to 1995 before joining Peterson Smith as an Associate in 1995. Dr. Rood has been a member of the AVMA since 1993 and a member of the AAEP since 2001. His specialties include training and racehorse medicine, lameness, reproduction and pediatrics. (Source)
