Dr. Rick Marion has been an integral part of Anoka Equine since he joined the staff in 2002. Born and raised in Kansas, Dr. Marion obtained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University. After several years in private practice, he returned to his academic pursuits in 1985 at the University of Minnesota. While there, he completed a three year residency in Large Animal Surgery and then spent two years as an assistant professor at the Large Animal Hospital. After an additional six years in academia working as an equine doctor at the University of Missouri, Dr. Rick made his way back to Minnesota and found a new home here at Anoka Equine. (Source)
