Rivendell Equine Hospital

Founded in 2009 by Dr. Dorothee, we are the only veterinary practice in St. Lawrence County that limits itself to only serving the medical needs of horses and other equids.
While having a one-track mind is annoying when we have to take our own dogs and cats to a colleague for veterinary care (trust us, it’s better that way!), it makes us really good at the one thing we do: taking care of horses, ponies, and donkeys. This allows us to spend all of our resources on equine-specific continuing education, and enables us to purchase specialized equipment.
