Robert Bende, DVM

Dr. Robert ‘Skip’ Bende grew up in Medford Lakes, New Jersey, a small community where twenty-one lakes existed in the one square mile town. Dr. Bende became quite a swimmer. He attended college at The Ohio State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1974 and then advanced to the College of Veterinary Medicine at the same university. A true ‘Buckeye’. His parents had Tennessee walking horses and that is where he learned his love of horses at an early age. He is currently on the Board of Education at Lenape Regional High School District and was the past president of the board. He is a member of the New Jersey Veterinary Medicine Association and honor roll member of the American Veterinary Medicine Association. Bende Equine has existed for 44 years and now is a proud member of the Colts Neck Equine Team. (Source)
