Dr. Ross Russell received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2009. Following graduation, he immediately took a position working at Pinnacle Race Course as an equine veterinarian. Dr. Russell has a deep Thoroughbred background, as his father is a long time race horse trainer. Beginning at a young age, he has worked in almost every position on the “backside”; groom, exercise rider, owner, trainer, and now Veterinarian. (Source)
