Sally Banner Brown, DVM

Dr. Sally grew up in Maryland where she became involved with horses at a young age. She participated in pony club, 4-H, and the local hunters. After her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois, and a year abroad in Wales, she stayed on at U of I and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She then completed a yearlong internship at Rochester Equine Clinic in New Hampshire, after which she joined a practice in New Boston, NH. Although she loved her five years in New England, she sought a warmer climate and moved to the Lowcountry in 2000. After sixteen years at Edisto Equine Clinic, Dr. Sally joined Dr. Miller and his team at Charleston Equine Clinic in the fall of 2017. Dr. Sally enjoys general equine practice with particular interest in internal medicine, ophthalmology, and geriatric care. She and her husband Frank enjoy farm life with their two rescue dogs Earl and Oliver, mule Hattie, and donkey Buttons. (Source)
