Dr. Farnsworth is a native Texan with a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s in Agriculture, with an emphasis on equine reproduction, from Texas A&M University. Following her undergraduate degree, Dr. Farnsworth completed the Kentucky Equine Management Internship at Dixiana Farms in Lexington. Prior to attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, she worked at WinStar Farm overseeing a broodmare barn and one of their hyperbaric chambers. She has also attended the Chi Institute for equine acupuncture. Prior to beginning her internship with Hagyard Sally practiced with a mobile equine practice in Ft. Worth, Texas.
In her spare time Dr. Farnsworth enjoys traveling, cooking, walking with her Bull Dog Ace and following horse racing. (Source)
