Dr. Schalnus completed a bachelor’s degree at Colorado State University prior to working at Valor Farm in Pilot Point, TX and then the Lazy E in Guthrie, OK. He went on to complete a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University in 2000 followed by a Field Care internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. Dr. Schalnus continued on with Hagyard as an associate and is now a Member of the Practice, where he specializes in field care, reproduction and sales veterinary care. (Source)
